The community is reporting that the final villas are now selling and the exciting news is the condominiums will be opening in the Spring of 2012. Great news for those wanting an apartment-style floorplan. Dell Webb always has lots of planned events that you are invited to. Check with them for more information. Is it the blue sky and fluffy white clouds I see today sitting picturesquely over the community, the lush fantasy-filled plantings, the magnificent clubhouse filled with amenities to delight you .. is it the smiles of the people who greet you .. is it the well-planned homes .. what is it that makes you feel good when visiting this place .. I liked Del Webb's Potomac Green very much the first time I saw it and I like it even better today on my second visit.. You should check this one out if only for resales .. see your local Realtors. This community began in a very bad real estate market but it's appeal and ideal location in Northern Virginia has made it a success! Although there are single-family homes with garages, the attached villa collection has been particularly popular. I was really impressed with the elegant clubhouse and there is a Lifestyle Director with a planned calendar. All of this encourages social interaction. Of course you don't have to participate but why not when it's so easy. So many amenities including:
Currently there are two floor plans remaining starting at upper $300's; both are large 2 bedrooms and 2 and 1/2 baths. I hope you enjoy these photos of Potomac Green by Del Webb as much as I enjoyed viewing the community.

I always wanted a writing desk like this next to a window filled with a view of a Japanese Garden..well this doesn't come with your home of course but, well, maybe you could put one in your own home if you wanted it..
..now maybe you just want to see floorplans but I liked this free standing kitchen table--hmmmmmm--I do think active retirees have time to do some gourmet cooking and they will need some workspace for their "hobby" or new entrepreneurial career--furniture doesn't come with the home either--but these are things you may want to consider in your retirement home..
..and more things to consider--an upstairs bonus room for the visiting grandkids..this is in the Concord Loft villa. (please verify all prices and information)

..you can make the second downstairs bedroom a home office or study--or the Concord and Burlington loft plans have bonus rooms upstairs for an extra bedroom and bath or office space.

If you aren't familiar with the area, please have a good map or the number of the sales office handy 703-723-9105. I had trouble finding the route 607, (Loudoun County Parkway road)that you turn onto from Route 7, as the street sign was easy to pass. But once on that road I found getting there easy as there were signs posted.
