Working In Retirement

Not Ready To "Retire" Yet
Why do we still see people working in retirement. Do we automatically think they have to for financial reasons. But consider how many of the rich and famous there are who keep working. There are many reasons why people continue to work. If they are in good health, they may wish to stay physically and mentally active, or they enjoy working more than anything else. There are many reasons and each reason is personal.
Here are some ideas for continuing to work in retirement if you want to do "something different." Have you wanted to start a website. This is a fabulous career and something that has the potential to earn good money depending on how hard you want to work at it. I can recommend it because that is what I do. My website is related to my career and so I have a lot of knowledge that I can give to others. This is the best way to have a website--writing about something you know and have a passion for.
If you are interested, there is a great program that you can join by clicking on the "Site Build It" logo at the bottom of the page. Be sure to enroll from my webpage.

And if you are not interested in building a website, some other work good for seniors would be real estate, mystery shopping, consulting, teaching, travel writer, volunteering, tour operators, and working from home. If you live in the Los Angeles area and some other cities, being an extra for movies and TV is fun. When I did this, there were many seniors employed as extras and having a lot of fun. Age is less important in business today. Most companies are looking for experienced workers. Consulting in your previous profession on a part-time basis may be in demand. Have you heard of TTT, the Troops to Teachers program. It is a national program recruiting former members of the military to teach at schools that serve low income families. For more information on this program call 1-800-231-6242. If you know of a good job for retirees, please let us know so we can share it. Thank you. Carol, Best Guide-RC Publisher
