Central Florida retirement communities are generally about 90 minutes to the Atlantic Ocean beaches and 40 minutes to the Gulf. The great theme parks are also in this area. It may offer a lower cost of living than areas on the coast of Florida. Depending on the community, you may have so many amenities and activities you won't miss being at the Coast.
