• Some areas have views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
• Lake Lanier and Lake Oconee, some of the most popular U.S. lakes, are  near Atlanta. 

The Atlanta Office on Aging has a great Interactive Map to find facilities for seniors.  You can find a city and then see what is around it in libraries, senior centers, assisted living, parks and more.  The intention is to have Lifelong communities where everyone can age well in those neighborhoods.
