Some communities have rent to buy programs to see if you would enjoy living in a manufactured home. Some communities have rentals and/or seasonal rental programs also and some do not. Carefully read all rules and restrictions.

Senior communities are usually neat, quiet and low maintenance. Be sure to purchase new homes from reputable dealers with warranty programs.

Resident-owned communities of manufactured homes in Florida may offer better stability. In a land-lease community, the owner of the land could sell the land and require you to move. Some owners of land-leased communities, however, have long-standing commitments to being more permanent. Land leased communities may offer some financial arrangements you may prefer.
